The Oklahoma Democratic Party is Answering the Call to Organize Rural Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — MARCH 29, 2023 – “We are Building Back Better in Oklahoma by organizing counties and reaching more rural Oklahomans,” said Alicia Andrews, chair of the Oklahoma Democratic Party. “As the Biden administration works diligently to help working Oklahomans with the Inflation Reduction Act and the American Rescue Plan, investing in farmers, safe water resources, healthcare for seniors, and expanding Infrastructure like broadband access, Oklahoma Democrats are working to grow outreach and connections with our rural Democrats,” she said.

“I am excited that our staff and volunteers have expanded our County Democratic Parties as we prepare for our State Convention in June. Congratulations to our hard-working Oklahoma Democrats who have stepped up to organize Caddo, Grady, Haskell, McCurtain, Nowata, and Okfuskee counties. If we want to make a change in Oklahoma, we must be doing the work at the local level,” Andrews said

“The Party wants to ensure that Democrats have the resources available to voters and constituents locally, and an organized county is a major start to that process,” Andrews concluded.
