Rep. Horn Makes Statement on NASA’s Annual Day of Remembrance

(Washington, DC) – Today is NASA’s Day of Remembrance, a day designated to honor those NASA employees who lost their lives “while furthering the cause of exploration and discovery.” Congresswoman Horn, who chairs the Subcommittee on Space and Aeronautics,
issued the following statement on NASA’s Day of Remembrance:

“On NASA’s Annual Day of Remembrance, I encourage everyone to pause to acknowledge and remember the brave men and women who lost their lives serving our country’s mission to explore and understand space. Their courage and curiosity have taken our country to the moon, expanded our horizons, and resulted in countless innovations here on earth. We will always be indebted to them and grateful for their exceptional service towards discovery.”
