Charges Dropped Pending Further Investigation

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma Democratic Party response to dropped Hofmeister campaign conspiracy charges:

Oklahoma County District Attorney David Prater dropped charges weeks out from a preliminary hearing against Republican School Superintendent Joy Hofmeister, Oklahoma Trump Campaign volunteer coordinator, Stephanie Milligan, and Republican political consultant Fount Holland pending further investigation. Charges may be refiled in light of additional information regarding one or more of the defendants in the dark money collusion case.

Unethical Republican leadership has failed Oklahoma. It’s imperative that those working for our children and education be held to the highest moral and ethical standards. Oklahomans deserve to know the truth behind the campaign’s contributions starting with a full and transparent investigation into any campaign contribution violations and a new preliminary hearing.
