Scott J. Hamilton served as executive director of the former Cimarron Alliance Equality Center in Oklahoma City. Scott has substantial social justice experience working with and on behalf of underserved populations. These include persons in recovery, LGBT elders, inner-city children, and people living with HIV and AIDS in New York, Haiti, Kenya, and Zambia.

A native Oklahoman, Scott spent most of his career in New York City where he was a frequent guest lecturer at Columbia, City College of New York, Rutgers, Princeton, and New York University, presenting on the challenges facing the LGBT community. In Oklahoma, Scott has presented numerous lectures at OU, OSU, OCCC, OCU, OSU-OKC, OU Health Sciences Center, Rose State, multiple state agencies, houses of worship, and federal correctional facilities. Often called upon to offer expert observations on civil rights issues, particularly surrounding the LGBT community, Scott has been seen on television news broadcasts and quoted in publications around the world.

Scott has published numerous articles in a broad array of fields including mainstreaming of special needs children into regular classroom settings, community support of older LGBT persons, the need for political advocacy, a faith-based approach to embracing the gay community, and the need for increased parental involvement in public education.

Andrew Rickel started working at the ODP as the Data & IT Director in 2015. Andrew comes to the ODP after working on the Cherokee Nation Chief election as the Technology Director, serving as the Executive Director for a county party in Kansas, and a Senate Intern for the Kansas Legislature.

Andrew manages the Voter Activation Network files and analyzes the data as well as all inhouse information technology systems and holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) focused in Communication Sciences from Kansas State University.

Angela Allmond

Angela Allmond began her work for the ODP in 2016 working the Presidential election cycle as the Communications Director. Angela brings over three decades experience in design, visual and digital communications, sales and marketing, and management. Angela is a U.S. Air Force Veteran and Woman Business Owner.

Before starting at the ODP, Angela worked 22 years in the digital marketing industry, owned a visual and digital communications and social media business, and served as the Communications Director and President of the National  Association of Women Business Owners – Oklahoma, an advocacy organization active in strengthening women entrepreneurs and womens’ business rights. Angela holds a degree in Architectural Design from Oklahoma State University.

Stuart Scofield began his work with the ODP in 2018 as the Congressional District 5 Deputy Field Director on the Future Fund campaign. As a Political Science major at Oklahoma State University, Stuart began his direct involvement in campaign politics in 2010. Stuart Interned full-time between the ODP and Organizing for America. The 2010 summer led him to pursue a career in Democratic field campaigning. He has worked every election cycle in swing states across the county since 2010, having a high success rate of getting candidates, even in years tough for Democrats nationally, elected. After spending five years away from Oklahoma he returned home to Oklahoma City to work on the ODP’s Future Fund Coordinated Campaign before transitioning as the ODP Field Director.

Ryan Starkweather came to the ODP in 2019 after serving as the Treasurer for the Oklahoma Stonewall Democratic Federation and working as the Finance Director for the Tim Gilpin for Congress 2018 campaign. He is a native Tulsan, graduating with a double major in International Business and Chinese Studies from the University of Tulsa. Originally planning on attending graduate school to join the Foreign Service, Ryan decided to stay in Oklahoma to help make his home state a better place for those who do not have the same opportunities he did. He has volunteered for many nonprofits and political and civic organizations, including volunteering for John Waldron’s State Senate race in 2016.

Tucker Gambill

Tucker Gambill joined the Oklahoma Democratic Party as Deputy Data Director in 2019. He studied political science at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas–where he served as President of the John Brown University Young Democrats. While in school, Tucker studied abroad in Northern Ireland and Jordan. Most recently, he worked as a field organizer for Senator Kirsten Gillibrand’s 2020 presidential campaign in New Hampshire. Tucker is excited to be in Oklahoma working to elect Democrats!
