The Oklahoma Democratic Party is taking applications to fill the vacant Oklahoma National Committeewoman seat. Individuals are invited to please email with their qualifications if interested in serving on the State Central Committee as the National Committeewoman.

National Committee members serve as a voting member on the Oklahoma Democratic Party Central Committee and are Automatic Party Leaders and Elected Officials (PLEOs) at the Presidential Preferential Primary State Convention. As members of the DNC, National Committee members are responsible for attending DNC meetings and training throughout the year in Washington D.C. and National Conventions.

A Central Committee Meeting to elect a National Committeewoman to serve until the 2020 Presidential Preferential Primary State Convention will be held Saturday, August 17th, 2019, 10:00 am at the Oklahoma Democratic Party HQs in the large conference room.

*The Oklahoma Democratic Party does not cover travel and other National Committee expenses incurred when serving as a National Committee member.

Section 5: National Committee Members
Positions on the Democratic National Committee allocated to the Oklahoma Democratic Party shall be filled by election every four years by a majority vote of delegates to a State Convention called pursuant to a National Call for the election of delegates to a National Presidential Nominating Convention of the Democratic Party.
