Field Organizers

Job Description The Oklahoma Democratic Party is seeking Field Organizers to work in Oklahoma’s 5th Congressional District for the 2020 cycle. Field Organizers will work closely with field leadership and will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing volunteers to expand the volunteer network for the campaign. Field Organizers will manage and execute voter contact tactics such as phone banks, text banks, canvasses, voter registration drives, and visibility events. Please note, these tactics will vary based on the environment related to COVID-19 that we will be working in. Field Organizers should be high energy, outgoing, and enthusiastic. This is a full-time, time-limited job that will end on or before November 3, 2020. Includes health care benefits

– Organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently and as part of a team
– Adaptable to changing needs and program priorities
– Positive attitude required
– Previous political campaign and organizing experience a plus
