DNC to Meet in Chicago, August 23-25

Chicago – members of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) from across the country will gather for the DNC’s Summer Meeting in Chicago, where the DNC will discuss the important work that is happening to prepare for the midterm elections and take up reforms to the 2020 presidential nominating process.

The DNC meeting will begin on Thursday, August 23 and will conclude on Saturday, August 25. Over the course of three days, DNC members will participate in caucus, council, and committee meetings as well as training sessions. There will be one general session meeting to discuss party business on reforms to the 2020 presidential nominating process, including caucuses, primaries, superdelegates and party reforms.

The DNC caucus meetings and general session will be open to the press and the public.

Additional details, including a detailed schedule of events, will be made public in subsequent media advisories. There will also be a media filing center open to press throughout the duration of the DNC meeting beginning Thursday morning.
