Democratic U.S. Senate Candidate Home Recovering after Hit-and-Run Accident

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma Democratic Party released the following statement on U.S. Senate candidate Abby Broyles’ hit-and-run accident:

The Oklahoma Democratic Party is heartened to hear that after last evening’s hit-and-run car accident, Broyles checked in with doctors today and is safely resting at home. Broyles was driving home from a friend’s house last night when she was hit on the driver’s side in the middle of an intersection, and the driver fled. The Oklahoma City Police are investigating the accident.

“The Oklahoma Democratic Party sends Abby Broyles well wishes for a speedy and full recovery. We trust that as soon as she has healed from the accident, she will be back on the campaign trail fighting for Democratic values, Oklahomans, and Jim Inhofe’s retirement,” stated Alicia Andrews, Oklahoma Democratic Party Chairwoman.
