Oklahoma Democratic Party Veterans Committee
Mission Statement

The Oklahoma Democratic Veterans Committee is a group of Oklahoma veterans whose purpose is to support, promote, and advocate the well being of the men and women, and their families, who currently serve or have served their country with the United States Armed Forces (both active and Reserve/National Guard components).

We believe the government of the United States of America has an obligation to provide benefits and health care for veterans.

We will direct our efforts to ensure that no Oklahoma veteran will be unduly burdened by lack of access to adequate healthcare. We also recognize that wartime injuries include psychological, emotional, or spiritual wounds. We are committed to justice for veterans and pledge to work to ensure adequate funding to care for the injuries, illnesses, and disabilities they may suffer. We further pledge support to their families and survivors.

We support our troops by expecting the best possible training and equipment, care for the wounded and maimed, and the facilitation of their transition from active duty status to veteran.
